Welcome to the Hunters Point Homeowners Association website.  We have compiled resources to help homeowners, realtors, and others to be informed about the Hunters Point neighborhood and the Association.  Look around.  If you don't find the answer you are looking for, feel free to contact one of the HOA board members.

HOA Design Standards

Since the annual meeting last May, a committee of homeowner Volunteers have been hard at work reviewing the HOA Design Standards with the goal of bringing it up to date. The document was published back when the area was in a construction phase and now that the area is complete, it was felt that it should be reviewed. Now that the final draft has been published, you can find a copy under the documents section of this website. All homeowners are encouraged to review the document and make comments via email to the committee through Ken Riley at rileykenn@gmail.com. You can also download the document as a pdf file using this link.

Trash and Recycling Services

Bestway Disposal has recently notified the Board that nonrecycle trash is being placed in the Recycle Carts. Please review the information on what can be recycled and also other requirements for your regular trash service at Bestway's website (http://bestwaydisposal.com). They have the option of not taking this trash or charging extra.

Are you prepared?

During the Q&A at the Cleanup, Officer Mahon of the Police Department was asked about emergency preparedness. While the city has plans in place for various emergency situations, it was mentioned by Bill Trask that there is a website (www.ready.gov) that provides a Preparedness Manual that can help homeowners to prepare themselves for such emergencies. A link has also been provided on our links page to the website for convenience.

Vandalism in Hunters Point

Recently, a couple cases of vandalism have been reported in the Hunters Point area. The tennis court area has had some property damage to the tennis court fencing, gates and locks. Also, it is important that residents lock the tennis courts after use to prevent nonresident use of the courts. Bike riding, skateboarding and other non tennis activities can damage the court surfaces and will result in the courts having to be closed for repair. If you notice such activities on the court, please notify a board member.
