5. Treasurer

There will be a new increase in federal taxes as we took in more than we spent.
Upcoming expenses are crack sealing and a new directory.
16 owners have not paid dues yet.
A CD will be maturing 6-22-10.  Approved to invest $5000 from checking and decide in June about the maturing CD.

There are no special financial assessments in effect and none are contemplated.  The financial position of the HPHOA is sound and it is expected to remain that way.

6. Project Engineer

Two Firewise signs need to be hung, one by the bear sign and one across from the Percivals.
Todd adjusted the door on the tennis court.  The new surface is cracking and curling.  Hellas will inspect.
Private drives have minimal need for crack sealing.   They are better than the city streets.
Private Drive” signs are in disrepair.  We will inspect and decide whether to repair or remove and go with city signs only.

7. Architectural Control and Covenants

1.        Helm mailbox will be altered to meet the covenants.
2.       Some street lights have been turned off by the city.  We should consider paying the $75 per light for the rest of the year.  The counter argument is that if we offer to pay, the city may turn the rest of the lights off.  Discussion at the annual meeting.
3.       Playset disapproved, but homeowners claim 30 day limit exceeded and have installed it regardless.  Our attorney says we have a good argument.  Board approved moving forward with attorney to remove playset.
4.       Approved external remodeling 1730 Pinnacle Ridge.
5.       Approved new roof and gutters2540 Oak Hills Dr.

8. FireMitigation

Have asked Andrew to come to spring cleanup and not annual meeting.
